Oodles of beautiful roses. Aren't they pretty? One of the little benefits of making cakes out in Clear Lake this summer, besides the wonderful kitchen, is using suppliers from cute little towns. These roses are from my new friends in Neepawa, at Beyond the Garden Gate. I also purchased those "beautiful-oh-so-fresh-cut-from-her-garden-that-morning" lilies from a previous post. This lovely cake, simple in design, was for Donna, who likes to check here often. Hi Donna:) Married out in Gimli this August, the cake is all vanilla. Vanilla cake and vanilla butter cream filling. The flowers are stunning red roses, white carnations and bear grass. Congratulations Donna, you looked stunning!
