Today I'll show you how easy it is to build a birthday cake.
First you start with a nice three tier cake. Something you should have around,

Then make a farm animal from fondant.
Sheep are good. Cows are cute too, see here. You could try chickens I suppose, but have found them to be generally nasty little birds.

Add a happy birthday, congratulations or such and voila! You're done!
