When given the opportunity to have a hand in deciding cake decisions, most kids will go for funny. And that's what I truly love about kids. Honesty and ridiculousness. My own are even pretty funny, choosing possible answers...

"What colour should we make Diego?" ..."purple with lellow dots".
"How should we decorate grandma's cake"...."dinosaurs, oh! and chickens!".
"Who else should we put on the Easter cake?"...."Santa Claus and daddy".
"Hey mom, guess what?"....."chicken butt....."
(unrelated to cake but still enjoyed here on a daily basis).

seriously; it never gets old

The cake above is a perfect example. Dear son was asked to help pick the cake for dad's birthday; most important factor.....must be pink. So, dad can have the skull and cross bones, but also has to have the pink. What can you do?

So here's to all the mom's out there, Happy Mother's Day!
I'll leave you with a lovely quote and hopes that you all have a wonderful day.

Most of all the other beautiful things in life come by twos and threes by dozens and hundreds. Plenty of roses, stars, sunsets, rainbows, brothers, and sisters, aunts and cousins, but only one mother in the whole world. Kate Douglas Wiggin
